“My experience with the First Home Club couldn’t have been better! From the initial mortgage pre-qualification through the closing, the process was made simple by professional folks who took the extra time to care. My mortgage originator, Laura Smith, made the process simple and walked me through every step of the way. She did so with grace, patience, and in a way that was filled with dignity. Because the folks involved took additional steps to ensure that I was purchasing a home I could afford that didn’t have any major repair needs, I was able to start off on exactly the right foot as a first time homeowner. My first home was purchased as a single gal, and I’m proud to say that, with the 5 years’ worth of work that my now-husband and I put in, we were able to upgrade to a larger home this fall. We would never have been set up for this without the help of the grants and assistance of the First Home Club.”

“Laura Smith is exactly the type of mortgage professional one hopes to work with—she’s prompt, professional and detail-oriented, not to mention extremely knowledgeable about the industry. What really sets Laura apart, though, is the personalized service she gives to her clients, putting them at ease and making sure that each and every transaction goes smoothly. I’ve known Laura for over twenty years and can’t recommend her highly enough.”

“My experience going through the First Home Club was outstanding. The knowledge provided by all involved in the process was incredible. In particular, working with Laura Smith was an absolute treat. During the purchasing process, I had many questions, concerns and hesitations. Laura provided me with copious information and guidance to help ease my concerns. I purchased my first home over a year ago and am so happy, in part to Laura. Thank you Laura!”
