RCSD Preferred Lender
Eligible Rochester City School District (RCSD) employees can get up to $9,000 toward the purchase of their first home by financing their mortgage with GRB.

GRB is proud to partner with the Rochester City School District (RCSD) and the City of Rochester to offer eligible RCSD employees up to $9,000 toward the purchase of their first home.* The total grant funds are provided by all three (3) partners as follows: $3,000 provided by RCSD; $3,000 provided by the City of Rochester; and $3,000 provided by GRB.
Before putting in a purchase offer for any property, buyers must verify property and program eligibility. Contact the RCSD Employee Benefits office to determine eligibility and availability of funds for the year. After filling out an application with RCSD, borrowers must complete a grant application through the City of Rochester. Then, GRB can assist homebuyers with a mortgage and additional grant funds.

Additional Incentive Opportunities
If you are purchasing a home outside the qualifying neighborhoods, GRB provides $600 off closing costs for eligible employees.
There is no additional application necessary. Funds will automatically be applied if you are a confirmed RCSD employee.
Talk with a GRB Mortgage Originator to determine if homes you ae looking at fall within or outside of qualifying neighborhoods.
