President & Chief Executive Officer
Phil brings more than 15 years of banking experience, focused on supporting small business and middle-market customers, to his role as President and CEO. Overseeing the bank's financial, operational, administrative, and credit underwriting activities, he also leads GRB's marketing and sales efforts, and serves as the bank's liaison to community support activities.
Phil received his MBA from the William E. Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester, and spent seven years with a local regional bank as a Vice President — Commercial Lending Officer. Besides sitting on GRB's Board of Directors, he is the Past President of the Small Business Council, a trustee on the Executive Committee of McQuaid Jesuit High School, and Chair of the Investment Committee there. He is on the board and Chair of the Audit Committee of the Greater Rochester Chapter of the American Red Cross, and on the board of Golisano Children's Hospital. On weekends you can find Phil spending time with his three kids or paddling his Adirondack guide boat on Irondequoit Bay.
Chief Lending Officer
Dave brings more than 18 years of experience to his role as GRB's Chief Credit Officer. Throughout his banking career, he has held positions in Middle Market Banking and Commercial Equipment Leasing.
A graduate of the William E. Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester, Dave gives his time and talents back to the community by serving as Chairman of the Town of Victor Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and Treasurer of the Victor Swim Club. In his free time, Dave can be found at his daughters' swim meets, running, or mountain biking on trails in Victor.
Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking
With more than 19 years of Business Banking experience, Paul is perfectly suited to lead GRB's Businses Banking Team. Counting several large national and regional banks as previous employers, Paul has made the most of his MBA from the University of Rochester's William E. Simon School of Business.
Numerous community organizations have benefitted from his involvement on their boards, including the Lifetime Assistance Foundation and the Small Business Council of Rochester. Paul also volunteers with the United Way of Greater Rochester and the Small Business Administration - Rochester Division. Paul enjoys golfing and spending time with his family.
Chief Operating Officer
Having joined the GRB team in 2007, Allana is responsible for the bank’s deposit strategy and execution. Additionally, she oversees Retail Banking, Cash Management and Marketing. She brings more than 20 years of banking experience to the job, most recently spending 10 years prior to GRB at local regional bank managing the Cash Management sales team throughout Central New York.
Allana graduated from the John Wiley School of Business at SUNY Geneseo, and earned the Certified Treasury Professional designation in 1999. She is involved in the Geneseo Regional Alumni Committee, and serves on the board of directors of the Penfield Rangers Soccer Club. She keeps busy with her husband and two active sons, and enjoys cooking, traveling, and playing volleyball when she can find the time.
Chief Financial Officer
Gary joined GRB in 2004 and is responsible for cash management, budgeting, financial management, technology and operations. With 26 years of banking industry experience, he most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer of a Rochester credit union. Prior to that, he was CFO at another local credit union.
A graduate of RIT's E. Philip Saunders College of Business, his community involvement includes serving on the Investment Committee of the YWCA of Rochester. Gary is an active parent/volunteer for Monroe County Youth Hockey and Brighton/HF-L Varsity Hockey.
