Continuing his philanthropic work for the Rochester area, GRB Chairman Phil Saunders has given a $10 million gift to the University of Rochester Medical Center’s neuromuscular program. Donating to organizations that bring jobs to the area is a priority for Saunders.

In 2006, RIT received $13 million from entrepreneur E. Philip Saunders to create the E. Philip Saunders College of Business.  A lifelong entrepreneur, Saunders is currently Chairman of GRB.  RIT highlighted him in their alumni magazine.

We are proud to announce the inaugural student art show at the Elizabeth Regional Gallery at ARTISANworks, made possible by GRB.  

 

For the first time, ARTISANworks is partnering with NYSATA Region 2 to help recognize the extraordinary K-12 student artists in this community.  Forty student works from 24 school districts will be on display in the Elizabeth Regional Gallery - a new gallery exhibit space sponsored by Genesee Regional Bank.

Phil Saunders, GRB’s Chairman, embarked on an epic adventure last summer.  In July 2010, Saunders’ six-man team, the Sugar Creek Bears, paddled 17 hours a day for over a week on the Yukon River through Canada and Alaska.  RIT's alumni magazine profiled their odyssey
